"Writing, producing, and embracing musical creativity are my most motivating forces."

One of my primary motivations for songwriting is the ability to observe a distorted situation and create a structured musical piece that tells the whole story. Meaning and solace can be found in the familiarity with other people and their experiences. A completed song is therapeutic to a fragmented mind and can provide closure. These are just a few ways songwriting techniques help me add dimension to a simple rhythm.

- Upside Down Jenny

Upside Down Jenny, a left-handed guitarist, has been performing upside down with a right-handed guitar since 13 years old (without restringing). More than just a novelty guitar player, her songs ring with an unadulterated sincerity that sets them apart from most artists. Upside Down Jenny donates her time and musical talents to various causes across the United States, from animal shelters to community events for families. In addition, she contributes to the "Education through Entertainment" mission at the Playhouse Nonprofit, where she is involved. Although her tastes in music are constantly evolving, she grew up listening to cassette tapes and vinyl records of Al Green, Blue Oyster Cult, Otis Redding, Morcheeba, Melanie, and Creedence Clear Water Revival. Throughout the last few years, she has lent her talents to producing shows in film and television as well as festivals and other forms of entertainment all over the country. In addition, her music has been featured in several indie films. She has more music planned for December 2022 and has just released "Ghosted" off the album Broken Wood. More details will be provided soon!
